We met at work and bonded over our love of video games and dogs (Sili, of course!)

We both had to work overseas, me in Singapore, Kath in Kuala Lumpur.

But we found time to visit each other.

Sometimes she visits me in Singapore.

Sometimes I visit her in Malaysia.

To us LDR simply meant dating across two countries, when time permitted of course.

Things were going well until the pandemic hit and we couldn't travel to each other anymore.

But still we visited each other in Animal Crossing...

for two...

long..

years...

After the pandemic abated, Kath found work in Singapore.

A year after, I found the perfect ring, and on a long awaited trip to Japan...

I fell on one knee, and she said yes.

The rest is history.
